Yesterday we showed you the judges’ picks from the Squishface Coaster Show, but here are THREE MORE that got picked by multiple judges! If the artists can drop us a line at (info [at] squishfacestudio [dot] com), we’ll get prizes to you soon!

Are Iffah, Nadia and soufex the SUPER MEGA ULTIMATE WINNERS? I guess so, but there are SO many good ones up there. If we really had to pick ALL our favourites, there’d be 130 instead of 13. Please come check them all out! We’ll leave the show up for the rest of October!

Thank you all so much for making us coasters, visiting us on Coaster Day and supporting Squishface.

Thanks also to Micador, who donated the art materials you used on Coaster Day at the studio! Go follow them on Facebook and Twitter for all sorts of arty fun.

Ladies and gentlemen! Behold the judges’ favourite entries out of the 251 in the show! In this case, our judges were Ben and David of Squishface, plus Special Guest Judge Kane, of the NonCanonical Comics Podcast!

These coasters are all great and may all call themselves Judges’ Picks! If you see your coaster here, please drop us a note (info [at] squishfacestudio [dot] com) with your name and postal address so that, with the help of our friends at Micador, we can reward you!

HOWEVER:

There were THREE MORE coasters which got picked by MORE than one judge! We will show you which ones they were tomorrow!

It’s been a week since the Squishface Coaster Show, and with over 250 entries, it’s taking us some time to pick a winner!  Did I say winner?  I meant WINNERS!  We have had entries from all ages, and therefore felt it was fair to select a handful of coasters that we thought were amazing.  It is a hard choice, becase there were many great entries.  Please stand by and we shall announce the winners very shortly indeed.

Guys!

The Coaster Show opening was fantastic! There’s 251 pieces in the exhibition!

More photos of it and you and the coasters soon. Also, our judges will pick some favourites shortly, and we’ll try to make a list of everyone involved (tricky, ‘cause not all of you put your names on them).

Meantime, just check out the whole collection! The goal was to get as many friends of Squishface up there as possible, and you did a great job. Thanks to you, and to our good sponsors, Micador, for supplying us with the materials you used to make ‘em!

The show will be up ‘til the end of October, so come visit if you want to check all this stuff out! And please let us know if you want to take your coaster/s home afterwards.

Look at the pile of coasters we got now!

98 pieces of coaster art for the exhibition, and look at all the blanks we’ve nicked! Come put some art on them TODAY at the Melbourne monthly comics meet (Prince Alfred Hotel, Grattan St, Carlton, 2pm) or TOMORROW at the Coaster Show (Squishface, 309 Victoria St, Brunswick from 12-6)!

This loving portrait by David will be at the Squishface Coaster Show, but might need a little paper stuck over the most offensive part.
But which is the most offensive part?

Friends of Squishface!

WE WANT YOUR COASTERS!

Draw on the blank side, then get them to us at Squishface so we can put them up in The Squishface Coaster Show (details here)!

Come by DRAWING NIGHT this Wed at 6pm and we’ll give you a blank to work on.

David will probably also be at the Melbourne Comics Meet this Saturday (Prince Alfred Hotel, Carlton, 2pm) and can take your coasters then.

Or just just come to Squishface between 12-6pm this Sunday (Oct 7) and draw a coaster with us.

Check out some of the great ones we’ve got! Drawings, collage and there’s even one somebody bit a chunk out of.

Art supplies for the coaster show are supplied by Micador.  Follow them on Facebook or Twitter.
